Poetry, Spring 2023

not so good at substitution

remembering the purple pieces
of abandoned puzzle on the sidewalk
I rearrange celestial bodies
become once again the nodding center of
the world and its bougainvillea overhang
allowing every idea, every iteration
its own infinity
